Most of these problems come about because the original chars had problems, not because of the compat edits. Tia, as an example, has problems because the original author only used the bare minimum sprites needed to make the char functional. When she turns into a fireball, its because the sprite required is missing, or the required sprite falls under the number the fireball animation occupies. Under these circumstances, unless someone has a decent level of programming and sprite skills, this is asking far too much out of someone because the fix isn't going to be easy.

The beginner way I know (and how I did mine), is that of an attack sprite like a punch, but the beam effect like an explod-type effect...
